MSCopilot - Self-assessment for Multiple Sclerosis patients

MSCopilot is a medical device designed for patients suffering from Multiple Sclerosis (MS). This mobile application allows you to self-assess at home between each consultation. MSCopilot adapts the standard tests used by your neurologist to evaluate the progression of your MS onto your smartphone. You can now perform these tests at home, at your convenience, regularly and several times a year. By using the app, you become an active participant in managing your MS and can easily discuss your symptoms with your neurologist.

MSCopilot allows you to perform the following tests:

1. Walking Test:

Measures walking distance and other parameters

Monthly

2. Dexterity Test:

Measures fine motor skills (right hand, left hand) by tracing on the screen

Monthly

3. Cognitive Test:

Measures attention and processing speed by matching symbols to numbers

Every 3 months

4. Low Contrast Vision Test:

Measures low contrast visual acuity by reading decreasing size numbers

Every 3 months

MSCopilot has been developed in collaboration with doctors and patients. Its manufacturer, Ad Scientiam, develops self-assessment solutions for chronic diseases on smartphones. These applications are created in collaboration with doctors, researchers, and patients.

Note: When performing the walking test and in order to make it usable with the screen locked, the GPS runs in the background. Continuous use of GPS in the background can reduce battery life.
